This month marks the 10-Year Anniversary for Vegan Society of P.E.A.C.E.! We're so grateful for wonderful, caring people like you who have supported our volunteer-run nonprofit organization for the past decade! Our Anniversary Celebration is this weekend in Houston -- we hope you can join us! 

We'll always remember our humble beginnings in 2004 when we hosted our first film screening during Meatout week.  Over the past decade, we've launched acclaimed annual campaigns and community events like VegFest Houston and Texas "Go Vegan" Week. We also host monthly events called Vegan "2nd Saturdays" plus produce other outreach activities and run educational booths here in the nation's 4th largest city.

Vegan Society of P.E.A.C.E. has grown by leaps and bounds while accomplishing great things over the past 10 years! This has all been possible because of our amazing, dedicated volunteers and our wonderful donors and supporters!

The future promises to be an exciting one, as we will continue to expand our outreach and advocacy efforts to educate the public. There are so many great things ahead! It's an amazing time in history for the abolitionist animal rights/ethical vegan movement!

With your continued support this year, we'll be launching an upgraded, interactive new website with even more online resources and videos in order to reach a growing global audience. Another goal is to raise enough funds to produce and print our own inspiring "Vegan Starter Guide" booklets, which will be distributed for free to the public in large quantities. The fundraising goal for our 10th Anniversary year (2014) is to raise $10,000.
