Be sure to check out our amazing menu in the sidebar to the right. *A raw vegan, gluten-free meal is available for an additional cost, but must be pre-ordered in advance.
Our special guest speaker for this event will be Alan Clune, Ph.D., who was one of our featured speakers at VegFest Houston 2012. Alan is a professor of Philosophy and Applied Ethics at Sam Houston State University in Texas, with a passion for animal rights philosophy and ethical vegan living. Professor Clune leads the Woodlands Vegan Meetup and is also an active volunteer with our organization. As part of our tradition, we'll showcase our annual slide show of Vegan Society of P.E.A.C.E. highlights. If you have pictures of VegFest Houston 2012 or any of our outreach and events from the past year, please send them our way for inclusion.
Did we mention door prizes? We have some fantastic goodies to give away, including a new product from WayFare Foods, items from Trader Joe's, vegan books from Book Publishing Company, and much more! In addition, there will be plenty of free Veg Starter Guides, compassionate literature and recipe booklets. Plus, there will be a parent-supervised play area available for young children.
