Greetings!

I am pleased to introduce Mrs. Dawn Butkowsky, who joins our History Department and will begin teaching on Monday, December 9. Mrs. Butkowsky will take over History classes taught by Ms. Duffey, who has resigned from the faculty of Pope John Paul II High School.

Mrs. Butkowsky is an experienced teacher, having taught a variety of high school-level courses at Provincetown High School, where she worked until the school's closure. Most recently Mrs. Butkowsky has served as a colonial interpreter at Plimoth Plantation. Ms. Heston, History Department Chairperson, and I are confident that she will continue the high standard that Pope John Paul II High School teachers hold for themselves in service to our students.

Mrs. Butkowsky is now responsible for all aspects of History courses previously taught by Ms. Duffey. Grading is current and you may now direct questions to Mrs. Butkowsky. Ms. Duffey's freshman Theology course will now be taught by Mr. Goulet. It is also necessary to transfer one section of Mr. Goulet's junior Theology to Mr. Lynch.

Feel free to contact me should you have any questions.

Sincerely,

Christopher W. Keavy
Head of School
