WTC Events Recap: EXPO and Fancy Food
International Trade Conference at the York EXPO
Our annual International Trade Conference was held in conjunction with the York County Economic Alliance's International Business & Workforce Expo. Part of the exhibit area was designated as the International Corner for our sponsors and WTC members who chose to exhibit at the Expo. This area also featured exhibit tables for foreign embassies and bilateral trade promotion organizations and a stage area for seminars. Representatives from 6 of Pennsylvania's overseas trade offices joined us for the conference and were available for one-on-one meetings with local companies. Thank you to our sponsors, exhibitors, speakers and volunteers!
PA at the Fancy Food Show
The World Trade Center again partnered with PA's Center for Trade Development in organizing a Pennsylvania Pavilion at the Summer Fancy Food Show, which was funded in part by U.S. Small Business Administration.
Pennsylvania's State Pavilion highlighted 13 Pennsylvania specialty food companies, including three from our region: Chef Tim Foods, Giorgio Foods and Nuts About Granola
.
The sold-out e xhibit hall included over 2,400 exhibitors from 80 countries and regions and the show attracted close to 24,000 buyers from across the U.S. and around the world, including several international buying delegations.
Hannah and Jan visited the show for one day and we were able to have a group photo in the PA booth.
