Safety

Dear Resident,

In the interest of safety for our residents and personal property, please do not discard cigarette butts from your balcony. Cigarette butts and matches discarded from balconies have led to fires at NuRiver costing thousands in damages.

The Association has replaced 4 awnings and 8 canopies; all badly burned by cigarette butts.

We urge you to remind and monitor your guests, as you are responsible for their actions.

We also encourage you to contact the management office or front desk immediately if you see someone disposing cigarette butts from his or her balcony.

Please remember to make appointments the day before, if you need Valet to bring your car downDue to the heavy flow of traffic coming in and going out of the building, please expect a minimum of 12-15 minutes of wait time if you are not able to call down for your car beforehand.

Please note that if you make an appointment, your car will be returned 15 minutes after your appointment has passed.

For your safety, car keys must not be left at the front desk and vehicles cannot be left in the front of the building without confirmation from a Valet attendant. The City of Fort Lauderdale will ticket all double parked cars.

Board of Directors

Letter from your President

Dear Valued Resident,

This year has been exciting and productive at Nu River Landing! Your Board of Directors and Management Team continue to work hard on your behalf and we hope that you have noticed the many accomplishments and are just as pleased with the outcome.

With the highly anticipated painting project completed, our new awnings and canopies were replaced on the 6th floor garden area and the pool deck last week. Additionally, you can expect our new pool furniture to be delivered in December.

As we near the end of this year please mark your calendars with the following important dates.

  • Nu River Annual Election is scheduled for December 8th at 7:00pm on the 25th floor.
    • The second notice for the meeting was mailed to all owners and you have now received your voting ballots. Please be reminded that all ballots need to be submitted prior to December 8th at 7:00pm. If you are planning to attend the meeting in person you may also submit your voting ballot at the meeting. If you have any questions please do not hesitate in contacting the Management Office.
  • The annual Boat Parade will take place on December 13th.
    • Please be reminded that due to the increased traffic in the Fort Lauderdale area and in an effort to ensure that our community remains safe and secure, we will be adding additional security personnel.
  • The Nu River Holiday is scheduled for December 20th.
    • The social committee is pleased to be coordinating the Holiday Party. Additional information will follow shortly.

Wishing you and your family a Happy and Joyous Holiday Season!

As always, thank you for your continued support of the 2014 Board of Directors and your Management Team. If we can ever be of assistance to you please don't hesitate in contacting us.

Sincerely,

Robert Bass, President
