Message from the President
Welcome back and I hope that you all had a good Thanksgiving break!

As we approach the the winter break, please remember to use the Raskob link to Amazon (which is included in the right hand column of every Raskob Notes and is on the Raskob Parent Association website).  Just use the link to enter Amazon at any time before you actually purchase the items and Raskob will receive about 3 or 4% of the purchase.  It is a very easy way to us all to support the school.  Please share the link with family members who may also wish to help Raskob.

Tomorrow, 12/4, our Quarterly Coffee and RPA meeting will be held in the California Room.  Dr. Cunningham, a neuropsychologist associated with Raskob, will speak and answer questions from 8:30 to 9 am.  A brief RPA meeting will follow in which we will discuss upcoming events and start planning for the new year.

Have you made a donation to the Staff Holiday Fund?  If you haven't, you may drop off your donation at the RPA meeting or leave it with Marlen at the front desk. The RPA collects money once a year so that each teacher, aide and administrator receives a cash gift before winter break.  The suggested donation is $50, but any amount is appreciated. Please get your donation in by 12/14.

Alumni Night is right around the corner. This night is an annual event in which Raskob Alumni return to the school and talk about their high school (and sometimes college) experiences.  It is open for parents and students who want to get more information about what high schools they may want to consider.  Alumni Night is scheduled for 12/10 from 7 to 9 pm in the
California Room.

Thank you to all of you who purchased Sees Candy and a big thank you to Dayna Broussard who has coordinated this for several years. The RPA netted $750 from the sale.

I hope to see you tomorrow at the Quarterly Coffee and RPA meeting!

RPA Happenings

Not sure what to get teachers and staff members for the holidays, don't worry, let the RPA help out.

It is a Raskob tradition that all teachers and staff are provided a Holiday card with a cash gift for their enjoyment of the Holidays.  We all know how hard this amazing team works to support our children and we all members of our community can provide something to the Fund.  An average gift of $50.00 is required to achieve past levels, but any level of support is greatly appreciated and for those that can provide more, that is also greatly appreciate.

Gifts should be given to Marlen in Raskob's front office and may come as either cash or check payable to Mark Headley.  The final date for receiving gifts  will be Monday, December 14th.

Your timely response is greatly appreciated by the RPA.  Thank you for making this holiday season very special for the teachers and staff.
