Message from RPA President

On Wednesday, May 6, we will honor the Raskob faculty and administration with a luncheon provided by the Raskob Parent Association (RPA).  In order for the staff to enjoy the luncheon, we need 4-6 parents to watch the playground from 11:15am-1pm. So far, 2 parents have volunteered.  If you are able to help, even for only part of the time, please email our room parent coordinator, Julie at  Also, please remember to have your children bring in a note or card for their teachers and a flower on May 6.

Also on May 6, we will have our last quarterly coffee of the year on the Bay Vista Room.  Kate Perry, a psychologist who leads many of Raskob's social skills groups, will speak from 8:30-9am and answer questions.  The RPA meeting will follow and focus on open board positions and budget matters.

On May 14, there will be an Open House at Raskob where students can show their families their school work.  The RPA will provide a pizza dinner and starting next week parents will soon be asked to sign up and bring salads, fruit and paper goods.

The RPA does a great deal of work to support the students and families at Raskob.  If you would like to help next year, there are many board positions open as well as specific jobs like a coordinator for the back to school barbecue.  If you are interested in helping, please contact Marianne at
