We have rescheduled our next RPA meeting for Friday, March 27from 8:30-9:30am in the California Room.

We hope that you are thinking about stepping into a board position for next year as the majority of our RPA board will be graduating with their eighth graders.  Last week we profiled the VP of Communications, a job currently occupied by Bridget Rivezzo.  This week we will profile the VP of Fundraising below. This job was unfilled this year, so I will answer questions about the position. You can contact me at

The VP of Fundraising

The VP of Fundraising works with the RPA to set the fundraising priorities and goals, evaluates new fundraising opportunities, and helps coordinate the fundraising efforts with various project and event committees. Currently, the job consists of overseeing the RPA's simple fundraising efforts which are comprised of (1) dues, (2) the Raskob Social and (3) Sees Candies sales, Box Tops, eScrip and Amazon Associates.  There is also the opportunity to think of new fundraising opportunities suited to a small school like Raskob. Please contact Marianne at if you are interested or have questions.

Please note the following:
  • Additional open board positions are President, Secretary, VP Communications, and VP Academic Resources.
  • Filled positions for the 2015-16 school year are Treasurer, VP of Family Resources and Support, and Past President.
Contact Marianne at rpapresident@gmail.comif you are interested in any of these other positions.
