Message from RPA President
Greetings!

Please remember to turn in your teacher appreciation donations by Friday, December 12 to Marlen.  Checks may be payable to Kristen Porter who will consolidate the funds and divide them equally among the 25 faculty and administrators.

The online component of the Book Fair will also end on Friday, December 12.  See below for details on how to order. Books will be distributed prior to the winter break. Thank you to all of the volunteers who worked at the Fair and to Julie Porte Vega and Carla Dartis for organizing.

Sports Basement is having a special happy hour for Raskob families on Saturday, December 13, from 5-7 pm at their new Berkeley store.  If you shop at Sports Basement and mention Raskob at check-out, you will receive a 10% discount and Raskob will receive a 10% donation from Dec. 13- 20 (Berkeley store only). Raskob families and friends will receive a 10% discount and Raskob will receive a 5% donation from other Sports Basement stores and from the Berkeley store once our special week ends. There are many ways to have your holiday shopping also support Raskob. See below for links and details.

Thank you again to Dayna Broussard who single-handedly took care of all of the Sees orders and distribution.

I hope to see you all at the winter concert next Friday.

Best Regards,

Marianne Mitosinka, RPA President

Teacher Appreciation in this Season of Gratitude

Each December the RPA collects donations to brighten teachers and staff's Holiday Season.  The gifts are VERY much appreciated by the staff this time of year.  By participating in our collective gift you will not need to buy individual gifts for your child's teachers, AND it will be a one time donation.  We do something different during Teacher Appreciation week in the spring and will not be asking you for another cash donation for teachers this school year.

If you'd like to contribute (and we hope you will!) the suggested amount is $55, but not a required amount. Please make checks payable to Kristin Porter, put in an envelope marked Teacher Appreciation, and give to Marlen at the front desk.

For questions, contact Kristin at  k_porter583@sbcglobal.net.

We wish you and your family all the best this Holiday Season!
