Message from RPA President
Vote, Contribute and A Guest Speaker ...
A ballot for this year's Raskob Parent Association (RPA) officers has been sent to all Raskob families via email this week. If you have not already voted,  you can find the ballot here. Please take a few minutes to vote by this Friday and then just click on submit.  The only board position that remains unfilled is VP Fundraising.  If you are interested, please write yourself in and we will be eternally grateful.

Thank you to the more than 50% of families who have already paid their RPA dues.  This is a major source of funds, second only to the funds raised at the Raskob Social in the spring.  Please write a check payable to the RPA and give it to Marlen in the Raskob office.  The suggested amount is $55, but any amount would be helpful.

Our first Quarterly Coffee of the year is Wednesday, October 1 in the California Room at 8:30am.  Our guest speaker will be Stephanie Wulkan, Assistant Director of Raskob.  Stephanie will be the acting director while Edee is on maternity leave.  Stephanie is also the lead teacher at Raskob and helps 8th graders and their families decide upon the right high school for them.  A brief RPA meeting will follow Stephanie's talk.  We will review the proposed budget for the year and discuss fundraising objectives.  We hope to see you there!

Best Regards,

Marianne Mitosinka, RPA President

RPA Activities & Information
Important Back to School Night Follow Up
If you missed Back to School Night last week you should have received the folder that was handed out that night with information from your child(s) teacher(s) and details about the easy ways you can support Raskob.

Teacher presentations included information about SchoolNotes, Raskob's school to home communication tool. You can find more information by clicking here

In addition to the presentations made by each teacher, there were Wish List items in each teacher's classroom. In the spirit of supporting the teachers, we wanted to make the Wish Lists were available to everyone who couldn't be at Back to School Night or who didn't see the items the teacher had put on a Wish List. Below you will find a link to a Google Spreadsheet that is organized by teacher with their Wish List items below their name. If you plan to contribute an item from the Wish List, please follow the instructions on the spreadsheet. Link to: Raskob Teacher's Wish List for Their Classroom

The RPA also handed a document designed to help you better understand the various methods and tools the RPA and the school uses to communicate with you, and includes the email addresses of all the room parents and RPA Board Members. Click here if you would like to see this document.
