Message from RPA President |
Raskob Director, Edee Ben Ari, gave an informative presentation about the WASC accreditation findings at the quarterly coffee yesterday. It is a very positive report and will make you feel good about your decision to send your children to Raskob. A 5 page summary can be accessed by clicking here. If you wish to read the entire 60 page Self-Study Visiting Committee Report, you can email Edee and she will forward it to you.
The RPA meeting that followed the coffee covered a number of topics:
- The Kindles purchased from RPA funds have arrived and the Chromebooks, Chromebook cart and lunch tables have been ordered.
- We reviewed and streamlined the teacher appreciation and hospitality functions of the RPA.
- We still need more parents and guardians to become involved in the RPA and are trying to reach out to new parents, especially in the elementary grades, to come to meetings. If you are unable to attend meetings, please send an email to me at rpapresident@gmail.com and I can help you find a way to contribute that fits your schedule.
- Our last RPA meeting of the year will be Wednesday, June 4, at 8:30am in the California Room.
Our next event is the Raskob Open House on Wednesday, May 21 beginning at 6:00. Your children can show you their work, you can talk to the teachers and see other families. The RPA will host a pizza dinner. There will be more information available next week.
This is Teacher Appreciation Week, so please remember to thank all of the wonderful teachers, aides and administrators that make Raskob such a great school!
Best Regards,
Marianne
