Message from RPA President
We have a busy schedule for the next several weeks.  Next week, we have our last push to collect RPA dues.  This is one of our most important fundraisers. RPA dues allow us to meet teacher requests, supply additional technology to Raskob and provide parent education. Flyers with the dues information will be sent home with your children
next Monday and your dues payment (in any amount) can be turned in to your child's elementary or advisory teacher by next Friday, 10/25
.  We will then stop asking for dues and move on.

Speaking of moving on, during the first week of November, we have our annual Book Fair.  You can purchase books online or at school before and after school during the Week of November 4. Proceeds from the Book Fair are used to purchase additional books for the library and classrooms. Laurel Books, a local bookstore, is instrumental in this effort and we hope that Raskob families will patronize this bookstore throughout the year. We are having several events during the Book Fair to entice you to come to campus.

The first is a parent education event is about Cyber Safety on Tuesday, November 5, 7:0-8:30pm at Raskob. The speaker, Officer Steve DeWarns, is a national expert on the subject appearing on Oprah, NPR, The Today Show and others.
The second event is a quarterly parent coffee with featured guest Edee Ben Ari, Raskob Head of School, on  Wednesday, November 68:15-9:00am in the California Room. The coffee will be followed by a short RPA meeting from 9:00-9:30am. The Book Fair will be open before, during or after these events.

Please save the date for both of these events.

Best Regards,
The RPA Dues Goal is 100% Participation - Please Help!

We have received dues from 49% of the Raskob community so far. THANK YOU to those who have already contributed. If you have not yet contributed your RPA dues, we still need your support!

On Monday, October 21 your child will bring home the RPA member/dues form. Please return the form with your dues to your child's elementary teacher, advisory teacher or the front desk by Friday, October 25. You can also download the forms below and turn it anytime between now and October 25.
