Welcome to the first edition of the Raskob Parent Association's (RPA) newest incarnation of Thursday Notes. As the title suggests, you should find a copy of this newsletter in your Inbox on Thursdays throughout the school year. As this year's RPA VP of Communications, I along with parent volunteers, have taken time this summer to redesign Thursday Notes in an attempt to make it as user friendly and helpful as possible. This is still a work in progress so please bare with me as we work out a few kinks and try new elements along the way.
In addition to the new newsletter design, we are currently working to update and renovate the RPA section of the school website (not currently accessible) in order to provide you with up-to-date information about the RPA and the comings and goings of school activities. We are also hoping to use the RPA section of the school website as a place where you can submit various forms, submit items for this publication, access archived Thursday Notes, find volunteer opportunities and RPA officer contact information and so much more. Please stay tuned for more information as the website updates become complete.
Lastly, if you have any feedback or would like to help with our communication efforts please contact me at email@example.com.
Here's to an informative and successful school year.
