Today's Reading
Seventh Sunday of Easter

After Jesus had been taken up to heaven the apostles
returned to Jerusalem
from the mount called Olivet, which is near Jerusalem,
a sabbath day's journey away.

When they entered the city
they went to the upper room where they were staying,
Peter and John and James and Andrew,
Philip and Thomas, Bartholomew and Matthew,
James son of Alphaeus, Simon the Zealot,
and Judas son of James.
All these devoted themselves with one accord to prayer,
together with some women,
and Mary the mother of Jesus, and his brothers.

Parents:  It's time to think about selling your child's textbooks back to MBS, Savio's textbook vendor.   Please see the flyer HERE for full instructions (you need to "sign in" your books on line BEFORE you bring them to Savio on June 1st.)  The great news is that when you utilize the June 1st buyback, you'll be rid of those used textbooks and won't have to pay for shipping to send them back!  Not only do you get money for your books, but a small portion comes back to Savio SPA to be used for programs throughout the year! PLEASE NOTE: Savio will only receive credit for the buyback if you bring the books with invoice to Savio on June 1st. If you choose to mail the books to MBS yourself, Savio will NOT receive credit for the buyback.  Any questions, please contact Julie Zimmerman at zmardle@aol.com or Michelle Callas at mrcallas@hotmail.com.

Summer Program Opportunity!
The Summer Business Institute (SBI) is a week-long summer program for rising high school juniors and seniors at The Busch School to immerse them into entrepreneurship and business leadership through the lens of Catholic Social Teaching. From Sunday, June 18th through Friday, June 23rd, high school students interested in business will have the opportunity to dive hands-on into business principles, competitions, and leadership applications, while experiencing a taste of college life in Washington, D.C. Last year, 70 students from around the country participated, and we are looking forward to having just as successful a summer this year! I was also a camp counselor last summer, and the camp was such an incredible example of what the business school at CUA has to offer.

You can find applications and more information on our website , through the attached flyer, and our SBI video.
