Second Sunday of Easter (or Sunday of Divine Mercy)
They devoted themselves to the teaching of the apostles and to the communal life, to the breaking of bread and to the prayers. Awe came upon everyone, and many wonders and signs were done through the apostles. All who believed were together and had all things in common; they would sell their property and possessions and divide them among all according to each one's need. Every day they devoted themselves to meeting together in the temple area and to breaking bread in their homes. They ate their meals with exultation and sincerity of heart, praising God and enjoying favor with all the people. And every day the Lord added to their number those who were being saved.

Course Requests
Students may now login into their RenWeb accounts to request their courses for the 2017-2018 school year. To select courses, simply click on the student information tab in the left-hand menu, then click on course requests. Students then should click on all courses they would like to take next year, including required courses and elective courses. Students are advised to click on all of their elective choices in case their first choice is not available. If a student does not see a course for which they have been approved, they should note so on their course selection sheet and bring it to Dr. Kohutek in the guidance office.
a
When they are finished they should click the save button. Students may go back and change their choices if needed but should enter their final course selections no later than Friday, May 5th. Once a student is finished requesting courses, they need to turn in their course selection sheet to the guidance office.
Attendance Reminder!
This is a friendly reminder to parents and students regarding personal absences. Absence forms must be completed (all signatures including Mr. Gutilla's) and returned to the front office 48 hours before the absence in order for it to be excused. We are starting to see a number of students turning in absence forms either the day of or the day before they are going to be absent from school. The school handbook clearly states that in order for absences to be excused the office must receive the absence form 48 hours before the absence occurs.
Volunteer Appreciation Mass
The Volunteer Appreciation Mass is Wednesday, May 10 at 9:50 AM at St. Vincent de Paul. We will be honoring all the dedicated volunteers who have helped in many ways throughout the year and honoring this year's recipient for the John Bosco Award. All are welcome to attend and we hope to see you there!
MARK YOUR CALENDARS! The Baccalaureate Mass and Graduation Ceremony is scheduled for Friday, June 2, 2017 at 6pm at St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church. We are in need of VOLUNTEERS (adults and students) for this event. More detailed information and sign up opportunity will be in future Eagle Weekly bulletins. In the meantime, if you know you are ready to serve, students may contact Mr. Daniels at mdaniels@saviochs.org and adults may contact Mrs. Antenora at sarahantenora@mac.com.
