Twenty-seventh Sunday in Ordinary Time
How long, O LORD? I cry for help but you do not listen! I cry out to you, "Violence!" but you do not intervene. Why do you let me see ruin; why must I look at misery? Destruction and violence are before me; there is strife, and clamorous discord. Then the LORD answered me and said: Write down the vision clearly upon the tablets, so that one can read it readily. For the vision still has its time, presses on to fulfillment, and will not disappoint; if it delays, wait for it, it will surely come, it will not be late. The rash one has no integrity; but the just one, because of his faith, shall live.

Health Reminder
As we enter fall, that means that flu season is fast approaching. Students should take care to make sure they are getting enough rest and eating healthy. Students should be washing their hands several times a day using soap and warm water for 15-20 seconds. Encourage students to cover coughs and sneezes and keep hands away from eyes, nose and mouth. If a student experiences flu-like symptoms, they are advised to stay at home during the first days of illness when symptoms are most severe and infection is most contagious. They will be able to return to school when symptoms are improving and no fever has been detected for 24 hours without the use of fever reducing medication.
Bus Transportation News!
Just a reminder to parents/guardians of the pick-up times for students using school bus transportation. Please do your best to get your students to the pick-up sites on time. The drivers will only wait a few minutes before leaving to get the students to school before the first bell rings. Thank you for your continued support and cooperation.

Attendance for Homecoming Football Game
We anticipate a large crowd for our game this Friday's football game, which means seating will be at a premium. In order to best accommodate our numbers, please take note of the following:
1) The Savio student section will now be located at the other end of the stands (northern side) instead of the southern side.
2) The pep band will be moved to the row immediately next to the student section.
3) The visitor's section will be at the side where the student section had previously been located.
4) All fans are advised to do their best to make room for all attendees so that there is not empty spaces left.
5) All fans are requested to avoid standing along the ramp railings (especially two-deep) in order to ensure that there is safe passage to and from the stands, the bathrooms, and concessions.
6) A reminder that students are not permitted to leave the game and go to the parking lot and return to the game.
7) Finally, as always, we pride ourselves on being positive supporters of our Eagle athletes. Please be sure to uphold our Play Like A Champion Today principles at all times during the game.
