It's hard for me to believe that 2013 marks the tenth year of my practice as an executive coach and team consultant. Over this past decade, I have enjoyed logging over 3000 hours of coaching time and have served over 75 consulting clients.
I am celebrating this anniversary with a new logo, a new tag line, "Wise Solutions for Complex Challenges," a new website, and a soon-to-be-launched, blog-style e-newsletter.
As many of you know, 2010 marked the move of my office and base of operations to New Harmony, Utah, which is showcased in many of the photographs on my website. I continue to
travel regularly to work with clients across the West Coast and, less frequently, across the nation.
The bulk of my practice is devoted to working with individual leaders, managers,
and leadership teams to find wise solutions to what really are complex challenges.
I marry my many years of experience in management to my training and experience as an executive coach and group facilitator in order to find new ways of addressing multi-dimensional, difficult situations. While I have focused largely on the healthcare and higher education sectors, I have found that my experience and approach have been broadly applicable to other fields.
Working from Utah gives me the opportunity to develop a new service: executive coaching via telephone and video conferencing. This distance-approach to coaching provides much greater convenience and far more scheduling flexibility for my clients. Remote coaching, especially via a video connection (Skype and Goto Meeting), is as equally effective as in-person coaching. I am now able to offer my coaching expertise to clients in far-flung areas, something that is not possible if we are restricted to in-person coaching. If you or a friend/colleague would be interested in this innovative coaching solution, please check out the
telephone coaching tab on my website or
feel free to contact me to discuss this approach and your needs in more detail.
KEEPING IN TOUCH
As many of you know, I have avoided doing any form of a newsletter or blog in the past. I know that all things happen best when the time is right. Well, the time feels right to launch a communications vehicle after all these years.
My Plan? To communicate once a month - more often if the spirit moves me - by sending out an email that includes a short, focused observation drawn from my most recent client work and my own developmental journey. Look for the first edition some time this summer.
And do keep me in mind for coaching and team development, for yourself or a friend/colleague.
As I enter this second decade of my practice, I am ever more inspired by my clients and their commitments to professional and personal development.
I look forward to serving you in the future.
Cheers!
