Make an Impact: Diploma-See

Junior Achievement's Diploma-See happening on October 24

The Chamber is looking for 90 additional volunteers to work on October 24 for Diploma-See.Coca Cola has already committed to bringing 150 volunteers and several other companies have made this a team activity. The Greater Tampa Chamber of Commerce and Hillsborough County Public Schools partners with Junior Achievement every year to get volunteers for this educational program. We need community members to volunteer to present practical information at a critical time in an 8th grader's life. This program includes personal finance and the importance of identifying education and career goals based on a student's skills, interests and values. It demonstrates the economic benefits of staying in school.

Training sessions will be held during the month of October to prepare volunteers for the 24th. If your company provides ten or more volunteers, Junior Achievement will come to your site for training. No experience necessary! Click here to register.

Please contact Catlin Layton at 813-276-9448 or clayton@tampachamber.com if you have questions. Thank you to our sponsor Achieva.
