Register Now: 2014 Political Hob Nob

The 2014 Hob Nob will take place on Wednesday, July 16 at the Tampa Bay Times Forum from 4:30 - 7:30 p.m. This premier election season event is your opportunity to mingle with candidates vying to represent the heart of Florida's most significant voting bloc just weeks before the 2014 primary! Come vote for your favorite candidate in the Hob Nob Straw Poll. Winners will be announced at 6:30 p.m. Refreshments will be served. Click here to register!

Unfiltered: Emerge Tampa Bay Town Hall

Tired of Tampa Bay's transportation status quo? Join Emerge Tampa Bay on Wednesday, June 25 to hear and be heard about public transit, walkability, bikeability, busing and other transportation issues at Unfiltered - a dynamic discussion with your local officials. We invite you to attend our conversation with area business leaders, young professionals and local and state leaders as they address the latest developments and ideas on the local transportation agenda.

The panel gives you a platform to ask tough questions and get unfiltered answers from YOUR policy makers. Offer suggestions, provide feedback and help improve Tampa Bay's accessibility and lifestyle for all who live, work and play here. Chamber hosts Small Business Information Center appointments monthly

The Small Business Information Center (SBIC) is committed to supporting economic development by assisting entrepreneurs in the creation or expansion of small, minority and women-owned businesses throughout Hillsborough County. SBIC provides free business consultations to help clients start and grow their business. Clients receive assistance with developing their business idea, business plan, marketing plan, answer questions about business structure, zoning, permitting, taxes, insurance, bonding and registering your business.

The Chamber hosts monthly appointments with SBIC on the 4th Thursday of every month. Appointments are required, if you would like to schedule a free one-on-one consultation appointment or register for a free workshop(s), please call (813) 914-4028 or visit www.hillsboroughcounty.org/sbic.
