Military Appreciation Awards: 2014 Nomination Forms
The Chamber is now accepting nominations for this
year's Military Appreciation Awards. To nominate a person or business for one of the following awards, please complete each section of the nomination form. Any endorsements the nominator feels will help the selection committee in its deliberations are welcome. All community activities during 2013 should be mentioned.
- Officer of the Year
- Non-Commissioned Officer of the Year
- Department of Defense Civilian Employee
- Business Partner of the Year
- ROTC Cadet of the Year
- Bob Cutler Volunteer Award

To be considered for these awards, nomination forms must be received no later than close of business on January 10, 2014. All nominators will receive an email confirmation when their submission is received. Please allow up to 48 hours for processing.

Pearls of Wisdom: December 11
Holiday Shopping Personal Safety and Identity Protection: How to be safe in the stores and online 
Our final Pearls of Wisdom for the year will provide attendees with useful information for protecting yourself and your belongings while holiday shopping brick and mortar stores as well as ways to guard against identity theft in the stores and online.
This women's focus program will feature City of Tampa Police Chief Jane Castor giving a straightforward, no-nonsense presentation on how to avoid becoming a victim, including self-defense techniques that anyone can use. Suzanne Diaz from PNC Bank will cover safety measures to protect your identity from cyber thieves and fraud, not just at the holidays but in your everyday life.
In the holiday spirit, the Greater Tampa Chamber's Women of Influence Committee is also taking this opportunity to facilitate a Diaper Donation Drive for the Alpha House of Tampa. Diapers will be collected at the event as well as the Chamber office. All size diapers are greatly needed except newborn. Pearls of Wisdom will be held on December 11th at Mise en Place.
