Most small employers - those with 50 or fewer full-time employees are not required to offer health insurance coverage under the Affordable Care Act. Even businesses with more than 50 full-time employees have gotten a one-year reprieve from penalties if they don't offer insurance. But all companies, regardless of size, are required to notify their employees about the Obamacare marketplaces. Read article here.

Ambassador of the Quarter
Congratulations to Anita Roederer, VP Strategic Alliance at Tomlin Tested Staffing for being our Ambassador of the Quarter! Anita has worked with Tomlin Tested Staffing since June 2012. Since the owner of the company Holly Tomlin, has been active in the Chamber since 1992, it only made sense that Anita get involved as well.
"I love being an Ambassador for the Greater Tampa Chamber of Commerce. Having moved to Tampa only two years ago, this has been a great way for me to meet new people not only professionally but also personally. I always encourage new members to get involved, participate, attend events, and give back. You only get out of something what you put into it and the Chamber has definitely been worth the effort!"
