Recap: Buccaneers Luncheon
Bay was filled with business and civic leaders Tuesday who all had one thing in common: excitement for the start of the Buccaneers season. With over 400 guests in attendance, QB Josh Freeman, CB Darrelle Revis, RB Doug Martin, DT Gerald McCoy and FS Dashon Goldson joined co-chairman Bryan Glazer, GM Mark Dominik and coach Greg Schiano on stage in style as they answered a variety of questions from the audience.
With optimism of a great season surrounding the room, coach Schiano told the crowd that he believes the biggest key to success this year is to "play as a team and stick together." The players all laughed when one question popped up, "are you glad training camp is over?" They all slowly raised their hands. With the season opener right around the corner, the players and fans are excited to start a new year with a great team. A big thank you to the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, Clearwater Regional Chamber, St. Petersburg Area Chamber and the Tampa Tribune for an exciting luncheon! Good luck to the Bucs as they take on the Jets in New York on Sunday!
