President and CEO of Dale Carnegie Tampa Bay, Rick Gallegos, joined us yesterday for another exciting segment of our Competitive Edge Series. Mr. Gallegos spoke about ways that could dramatically increase leadership effectiveness and team performance. He led the participants in different exercises to kick off the workshop and discussed actions one can take to develop enthusiastic, empowered, confident and inspired employees. Recap: Climbing the Capital with Will Weatherford
Florida Speaker of the House Will Weatherford addressed Emerge Tampa Bay and the Greater Tampa Chamber of Commerce members last night at the Climbing the Capital event. To the nearly 100 participants in attendance, his message was clear -believe in something and become engaged in the process. As a young professional himself, he encouraged young professionals to insert themselves in the conversation and begin to make changes that impact their generation. Speaker Weatherford hammered home the fact that it is young professional's who make the difference in America. They are the ones who have started every movement for change.
