Recap: Women's Series with Cinny Murray, President of Chico's
Last week, the women of the Chamber were given the opportunity to listen to Cinny Murray, President of Chico's, give an inspirational message on her journey to success. With over 20 years of experience in the retail business, Ms. Murray spoke of the challenges she faced climbing the corporate ladder of a cutthroat industry. Her leadership techniques were admired by all as she gave an inside look on how she runs her business. "I have over 11,000 associates and I make sure I respect their time; my goal is to get the whole organization home to their families at night. You have to also lead with authenticity, learn to laugh and be real with them."
In her ending remarks, she concluded that her company and the Chamber are both reaching their goals of "serving the people." Thank you to Cinny Murray for joining us and a special thanks to our sponsor, UF MBA Program.
