Tampa Hires Heroes: Recap
 Tuesday morning the Veteran Employment Committee of the Military Council held Tampa Hires Heroes, an informational session about hiring our veterans. Attendees learned about the ways veterans can add value to our organizations. They were also informed on how tax credits are now available for hiring veterans. A panel was composed of two military personnel and a private company executive who spoke about the reality of hiring veterans and being hired as a veteran. Chamber Job Opening for Administrative & Front Office Coordinator
The Greater Tampa Chamber of Commerce is currently accepting resumes for an Administrative & Front Office Coordinator. Trenam Kemker hosted Southeastern Guide Dog, four month-old puppy-in-training and the firm's namesake, "TK," in its St. Petersburg and Tampa offices on July 26. As part of the firm's long-time commitment to the Palmetto, Fla.-based, non-profit organization, Trenam Kemker sponsored TK's training in anticipation of his service to a visually impaired individual or disabled veteran. The Jones family, of St. Petersburg, has been raising the dog, providing basic training and socialization before he attends Southeastern Guide Dog's rigorous "Puppy College."
