Chamber Committee Profile: International Business

Tampa Bay Trade and Protocol Council invites you to their first committee

The Chamber reinforces its efforts towards international trade by identifying Tampa Bay as an international hub and working with member companies throughout the area in Public Policy, Arts & Culture, Education, Tourism, and building capacity in the trade arena. The Chamber will concentrate on its existing Committees and enhance them by adding an International Business Committee. On April 16, 2013, the Chamber held its first International Business Committee meeting where approximately 24 Chamber business owners, educators, tourism and service providers gathered to share strategic ideas on how to build business success on an international level for the Tampa Bay area. While the Tampa Bay Trade and Protocol Council, housed within the Chamber, will facilitate the Chamber's International Business Committee meetings and involve them in Hillsborough County international activities that include matchmaking between businesses and foreign companies, the Chamber will have its own goals and objectives for success. To become involved and join this Committee, please contact Deborah Wilkinson.
