 Since 1971, Leadership Tampa has been introducing class members to major facets of the greater Tampa community through an intensive nine-month course. The Leadership Tampa program challenges members to see the Tampa Bay Community as they never have before while preparing candidates for the next step in their leadership journey. The selection process is both rigorous and competitive for the 50-60 seats available in each class. Mental Health Care Inc. (Hillsborough/Pasco counties), Personal Enrichment through Mental Health Services Inc. (Pinellas County), and Agency for Community Treatment Services Inc. (Hillsborough, Pasco, Polk, Hardee, Highlands and Broward counties) agreed to merge into Gracepoint Management Inc. Gracepoint will bid for behavioral health contracts through government and commercial health plans. The model also supports a large degree of autonomy and budget control for each Gracepoint member.
