Who represents the best of the best in Tampa's small business community? Nominate your favorite company today for the Chamber's annual Small Business of the Year Awards, which recognizes outstanding companies for their achievements in financial success, community involvement and ethical business practices. The awards will be handed out on Friday, September 20 at the Small Business of the Year banquet, the Chamber's largest signature event. All nominations must be submitted by Friday, March 8. Gasparilla Music Festival
Chamber sponsors annual outdoor music festival

The Chamber cordially invites you to the Gasparilla Music Festival (GMF), which will take place on Saturday, March 9 in Curtis Hixon Park and Kiley Gardens. GMF is a Florida non-profit corporation 501c-3 (pending) that organizes an annual music festival in downtown Tampa the second weekend of March. As part of its mission to support and promote music and education, GMF is involved throughout the year in several initiatives including providing scholarships to music students. The 2013 festival will feature over 25 musical acts from a wide variety of genres on several stages and cuisine from the region's top restaurants. Click here to learn more about this year's festival and group ticket sales. The festival is in need of volunteers to help ensure a successful event. You can sign up to help through the festival website, beginning January 18.

 Our most recent Leadership Tampa 2013 event was Media Day. We started the day with our hostess, Colleen Chappell, President and CEO of ChappellRoberts and a member of the Leadership Tampa Alumni Class of 1999. If you have ever met Colleen you know that she is a ball of energy! Moffitt Cancer Center's Groundbreaking Celebration
Expansion was a key component of the Chamber's 2013 Legislative efforts
