The Business Value of User Experience (UX) Design
DR's Women in Technology Special Interest Group (SIG) presents
Ladies Leading User Experience (UX)
Rochester, NY - Digital Rochester's Women in Technology SIG presents Ladies Leading UX, on Tuesday, February 23 at 7:30 a.m. at Locust Hill Country Club. This event will focus on why it is vital to invest in UX, the consumers overall experience using a product, as our experts share their experiences.

User Experience, an emerging field of interest, has grown from being focused on Web design into product development design. In our community, we have a great team of ladies leading UX efforts. We'd like to introduce you to the emerging topic of UX and their experiences launching and leading UX teams. The panel will address questions such as what UX means to them, myths, attributes they look for in new team members, key challenges, maintaining customer focus, up-front involvement, what quality assurance looks like, and where the UX discipline will likely go in the future.

 The panel will feature:
  • Dr. Vicki Hanson, Distinguished Professor, Rochester Institute of Technology
  • Mary Pat Cottengim, Human Factors & Usability Lead, Ortho Clinical Diagnostics
  • Brenda Harvey, Test Manager, MediSked
  • Ashley Kennedy-Foster, UX Manager, United Technologies Corporation
