Negotiating the Salary Gap

Digital Rochester focuses on effective ways to negotiate your salary.

Rochester, NY - Discussions about salary are one of the most common in the business world. But many job candidates don't know where to start, how to negotiate, or how to set salary range goals. On Feb. 24, Digital Rochester will host a panel of experts that will address how to take a proactive approach to your salary needs, and become more effective at negotiating for a better compensation package.

This interactive panel will benefit anyone who has struggled with salary and compensation discussions. The panel will address how to benchmark an accurate salary range, manage multiple offers, ask specific questions and avoid common mistakes during a negotiation. Attendees will walk out of this event with guidance on how to prepare themselves before going into a negotiation, and on setting themselves up for success.

Panelists include:

  • Karen Benjamin, Partner, Worldleaders
  • Dawn DePerrior, VP, Application Delivery, Constellation Brand, Inc.
  • Gidgett Ingalls, Director Human Resources and Strategic Planning, Caldwell Manufacturing Co.

Negotiating the Salary Gap will take place on Tuesday, Feb. 24 at 7:30 a.m. at Locust Hill Country Club (2000 Jefferson Rd, Pittsford, NY 14534). Tickets are $25 for Digital Rochester members, and $30 for nonmembers. Registration is available online at www.DigitalRochester.com.

The event is sponsored by The K&H Group at Merrill Lynch.
