Digital Rochester Launches
Engage Rochester Program
A program to support local CEOs kicks off on March 26
and will continue through the year.

Rochester, NY - Digital Rochester is launching a program in partnership with Bruce Peters, Host of the WCEO Hour webcast radio show. Engage Rochester, based on the CoreValue® Software program, helps privately-held companies build value and identify key business drivers by specifically working with CEOs. Over 70 companies have already participated in Engage Rochester, and Digital Rochester is the first organization to provide the program to their group.

"Digital Rochester's mission is to strengthen the greater Rochester Technology community," says Lisa Doerner, Executive Director of Digital Rochester. "The Engage Rochester program will provide a CEO scorecard that will help local CEOs build and track their company's value. We are excited to provide a tool for CEOs to improve their overall business health."

A keynote presentation will be given at the program launch event on March 26 by Chuck Richards, CEO of CoreValue® Software. Richards will share his vision for how the program can help both companies and the Rochester marketplace. After four startups as CEO and CFO, two turnarounds, and making the Inc 500, Richards formed CoreValue® Software. He has helped hundreds of CEOs of private companies as an advisor. Over the past 30 years, Chuck has been at the forefront of private business research including leading teams to create the first comprehensive set of Private Business Standards, Normalized Industry Trading Ranges for private businesses, and industry-specific algorithms.

"CoreValue is a unique product because it helps CEOs focus on building the value of their company," Bruce Peters explains. "The program gets CEOs thinking beyond sales growth by getting them to focus on building a high-value company that is sustainable and will be a stable source of jobs and a contributor to the local economy."

The kick-off event will include the keynote address, testimonials from CEOs who have participated in the CoreValue® program and a 15 minute business evaluation. The program assesses how strong, efficient and durable companies are to generate future revenue and profits. Participants will be able to see where their business is strong, where it is weak and identify steps to take to increase its worth. Attendees are asked to bring a laptop or tablet to take the Engage Rochester survey during the event. After completing the survey, attendees will receive a report detailing their personal company valuation gap and key drivers, the aggregated picture for the DR community and a national comparison. Digital Rochester will provide future sessions where CEOs can learn best practices, keep their progress on track with the program and share insights that they have learned from participating.

The Engage Rochester launch event will be held Wednesday, March 26 from 4:00-6:00 p.m. at the Country Club of Rochester. Tickets are $30 for Digital Rochester supporting members and $35 for non-members. Register online at DigitalRochester.com.
