As an area leader and Press/Plateroom Supervisor, Brian oversees all of the pre-press and print production. From trouble shooting, to quality checks and sign offs, Brian manages the department and works closely with his team to ensure that quality is met on every run.
Most recently Brian has been involved in the evaluation process of capital equipment purchases for IPB. Working alongside management, Brian and Sarah travelled from California to Germany this summer in search of the newest printing press for Ingersoll Paper Box. This is an exciting opportunity for Brian, and he is looking forward to the new press and what it can offer our customers. Stay tuned for more information and how this press will serve you better.
Brian has been working with IPB since 1989, starting as a general labourer and working his way up through the company - Brian knows that a strong team is what makes a company successful. "Everyone here is great to work with, we have good group of people and we all get along." The culture at IPB is what keeps him motivated to succeed and stay focused.
Brian has a no short-cut rule that he follows - he is committed to doing things right the first time and following through on his word. "In the years that I have worked with Brian, he is always picking up the pace, and trying to deliver the best possible product to our customer," Says Sarah Skinner. "He looks at how we could be doing things better, and is always raising the bar in the printing department. Brian is a great asset to the company and to our whole community. We are proud of the work he does here at IPB and in Ingersoll."
When Brian isn't working at "the box" or spending time with his family, you will likely find him on the golf course practicing his swing or riding his Root Beer coloured 2011 Harley Davidson Electra Glide. Brian is also a volunteer firefighter with Ingersoll and has been for 15 years. Anyone who knows Brian will agree that he is a man of his word and is dedicated to his work, family and the community of Ingersoll.
