What's New at IPB |
After 90 years in the folding carton business, Ingersoll Paper Box now manufactures corrugated cartons.
In the fall of 2011, IPB began manufacturing our own corrugated cartons for our own shipping purposes. Under the direction of Brad Orchard and Bill Voorn, our new corrugated program is off to a great start.
After a number of inquiries and positive feedback, we have decided to extend this service to our folding carton customers.
With continuous improvements, our corrugated cartons service offers you:
- Quick turnaround time
- Small volume orders with no minimum required
- Reduced corrugated waste
- Reduction of raw material inventory
- Increased precision and flexibility: we manufacture the exact size and quantity you need.
If you are looking for small volume (≤200) custom corrugated cartons, we'd be happy to fill your needs. Please talk to your IPB sales rep.

ROWER MARQUARDT SEEKS ULTIMATE GOAL AT LONDON 2012
(Click on photo to read TSN Article) | Focus is a state of mind in which everything you do is working toward achieving a goal.
The goals of our latest training camp in Florida were stated clearly at the beginning by our coach: to get solid on-water training and to make headway into determining which athletes will be targeted for which boat, the eight or the pair.
With these objectives in mind, all each of us can do is work hard every day to prove we deserve to be in that Olympic boat. My personal opinion is that there are 10 athletes who could make up the eight and 6 athletes who would be great in the pair: we are 14. I do not envy the coaches for the tough decisions they will ultimately make. Can you smell the competition?

IPB Employee Spotlight - Jackie Groves |
Keeping IPB Well-Supplied So We Can Supply You
Jackie Groves, an 18 year veteran with IPB, keeps things moving smoothly for everyone here and for our customers too. Jackie is our purchaser and looks after all the details to ensure we are continually supplied with such essentials as the board stock we use to make your boxes, glue, ink, machine parts and many other specialty items we need to keep filling your orders and delivering them on time.
Jackie loves that she is always busy and she gets to do lots of different things. She says the variety is what keeps her job interesting and challenging. She also enjoys that while her work is independent; she gets to interact with so many of her colleagues in most departments at IPB. So what stresses her? As any purchaser knows, the biggest stress is when there are issues with suppliers - especially with our board suppliers! It's things like late deliveries or strikes at suppliers that could impact our business and yours that will keep her up at night. Her mantra in these situations: stay positive and look for alternative solutions.
A past president of the Fanshawe College Student Union, Jackie is now happily married with 2 children, a daughter, 8 and a son who is almost 6. Given a half hour of free time -almost unheard of for this busy mom- she would choose to take her beloved labradoodle for a nice long walk.
