Happy Arbor Day!

This is a perfect time of year to be planting trees and shrubs. Trucks full of new stock from Oregon have been unloaded, and our sales yard is packed with so many textures and colors of conifers, Japanese maples, ginkgos and beeches. We've also dug smaller specimen trees from the field to round out our selections.

The Retail Price List is posted on our website, and so is our updated Specimen Tree List. During a recent inventory, we found some more wonderful specimens of conifers, beeches, and other trees that we hope you'll find appealing.

We are open Monday - Saturday, 8am - 4:30pm. Please call 815-338-7442 or email us with any tree availability questions. We are happy to check our extensive inventory. Contact us if you'd like to come out and tag trees in the field. Always be prepared for some mud when you venture beyond the sales yard!

Spring Delights

What a wonderful time of year, with many deciduous trees blooming, fresh leaves emerging, and evergreens getting ready to push out new growth. Every day offers new delights, as buds on beeches swell, ginkgo leaves unfold, and conifer cones develop. Textures and colors of conifers range from yellows to greens and blues, with the soft new foliage of many deciduous conifers developing a vivid chartreuse green.
