Greetings!

Spring is definitely in the air at Rich's Foxwillow Pines Nursery. Due to the warm weather, we've already opened up the hoop houses, and we're busy setting up the sales yard this week. New trees are set to arrive by late March or early April. The Retail Price List is posted on our website, and so is our updated Specimen Tree List. During a recent inventory, we found some more wonderful specimens of conifers, beeches, and other trees that we hope you'll find appealing.

We are now open Monday - Saturday, 8am - 4:30pm. Please call 815-338-7442 or email us with any tree availability questions. We are happy to check our extensive inventory. Contact us if you'd like to come out and tag trees in the field. Always be prepared for some mud when you venture beyond the sales yard!

	Pinus sylvestris 'Gold Coin'

Golden Splendor

Heading into spring we still see stunning yellow pines out in the field, such as Pinus sylvestris 'Gold Coin' and Pinus virginiana 'Wate's Golden'. The needles on these pines will start to fade to a greener tone as the temperatures continue to climb.

Carrying the golden theme forward into spring, Pinus parviflroa 'Goldilocks' and Pinus contorta 'Taylor's Sunburst' sport yellow new growth. What a great contrast with the older green needles!
