Greetings!

I hope you are having a relaxing holiday break! We were flattered to be mentioned in the recent Boston Globe editorial published on Christmas Day. And we remain honored to have received so much support this past year.

As 2013 approaches, two words quickly come to mind that embody our end-of-year reflections:

1. Grateful - for the partnerships and support that have helped so many of our most disconnected young people lead more sustainable lives. For example, because of such support, 88% of all UTEC youth have not been re-arrested since coming into our program.

2. Motivated - to help more young people achieve a level playing field, living free from violence and poverty. Now settled in our new and expanded building, we are excited to increase our numbers served in both workforce and educational programming.

As we have seen too often this year throughout the country, violence and poverty continue to threaten a young person's belief that the attainment of this level playing field is within their reach. I hope you will consider an end of year gift to UTEC as we prepare to serve more youth in 2013. With the support of so many individuals like you, we will never give up on any of the youth we work with. We will continue to think big. And we will always remain appreciative that the success of UTEC is directly tied to the power of our partnerships.

Thank you again for everything this past year.

Sincerely,

Gregg Croteau

Executive Director
