Tomorrow, UTEC will celebrate the grand opening of our new green building.  We are honored that Governor Deval Patrick will join us for dinner, along with Secretary of Public Safety and Security Mary Elizabeth Heffernan and Secretary of Energy and Environmental Affairs Richard Sullivan and other local and state dignitaries.

We will honor Superintendent of Lowell Police Kenneth Lavallee as our adult ally of the year and Eastern Bank as our corporate partner of the year. We'll also announce the winners of the Transformation of the Year Award and recognize other amazing youth leaders in our programs.

Local photographer Adrien Bisson's UTEC project debuts in our addition, with prints available for sale when the exhibit concludes later this year.
