CMP Custom Shop. Due to the popularity of the CMP Custom Shop, we will be temporarily halting the acceptance of new work orders to provide a more specific focus to current orders on our shelves. Our talented Custom Shop employees will work diligently to reduce the significant back log with their excellent and consistent quality service. Customers with work orders currently in our queue can expect them to be completed and shipped in a timely manner. Thank you for your support and we hope to begin to accept new work orders in January 2016.
  
  
Limited Quantity of M1 Garand, IHC Rack Grade Rifles. CMP has a very limited quantity of M1 Garand, IHC Rack Grade Rifles available (RM1IHCR). These rifles will be offered by mail order , sold as is, with no exchanges. The rifles are rack grade (rough but functional) and have been test fired. We will begin accepting orders 11/16/15. Any orders received prior to this date will be returned. Once your order is received in house, they are put into a container with all orders received that day. We DO NOT time stamp orders. We have approximately 105 rifles available. They are $760 each. Each customer is limited to one rifle. Due to the limited quantity and popularity of IHC rifles, if your order is not in house on 11/16/15, more than likely it will not be filled. We expect these rifles to sell out the first day.
 
 
CMP Advanced Maintenance Class. The 2016 dates will be announced next week and posted on the CMP's website at http://thecmp.org/training-tech/advanced-maintenance-class/. All classes will be held in Anniston, AL only. Due to the popularity of the AMC, we will again use a lottery system through our Competition Tracker software. This will allow individuals to register for the classes they can attend and applicants will be randomly drawn or placed on a waitlist.

 The Civilian Marksmanship Program (CMP) is thrilled to announce the completion of plans on the next big southern event - the Talladega 600. The match is set to begin Tuesday, Dec. 8, 2015, and concludes Sunday, Dec. 13, at CMP's new Talladega Marksmanship Park. The event schedule has been designed to appeal to rifle, pistol and shotgun enthusiasts alike in order to provide an even wider variety of marksmanship opportunities to competitors from around the country.
