Former Rifle Athlete Takes Talents to China After College

    

Through each choice she has made in her lifetime, Marisca Mozeleski, 22, has carried herself on an incredible journey. Growing up in Vashon, Wash., Marisca gained a passion for marksmanship that would eventually open remarkable doors to the world. As a high school student, she knew she wanted to fire collegiately but, of course, had no idea where. Though it was inevitable whichever path she chose guaranteed a variety of experiences, she couldn't have predicted just how far her college decision would take her.

Elizabeth Bark Excels for Maryland Junior Marksmen

    

Elizabeth Bark started shooting in September of 2010, starting with smallbore.  When she started with air rifle in October 2010, she was hooked on competitive shooting. Once she became involved in competitive shooting, she made her first goals: 1) To make the Maryland State Sporter Team for CMP, JO and NRA National Championships for 2012 before she turned 14, and 2) To earn her NRA and CMP Distinguished Expert Award/Medals before she turned 15 in 2013.

CMP Pneumatic Bench League 2014. The CMP Pneumatic Bench League will be fired at the Gary Anderson CMP Competition Center at Camp Perry, Port Clinton, OH. The course of fire is 20 shots from bench at 300 yards reduced targets (first 10 shots are sighters); 20 shots from bench at 600 yards reduced targets (first 10 shots are sighters). Shooters must use Sporter Pneumatic Single Pump .177 pellet rifles that shoot at 600 feet per second or less with either Open Sights or Scope. Example of these rifles are the Daisy 853 Rifles. This is a monthly re-entry league and shooters can re-enter as many times as they like with their top score posted in the results. $2.00 Entry fee for each entry. 100% Prize pool Payout (1st Place 50%, 2nd Place 30% and 3rd Place 20%).


 

 

 


 

CMP SMALL ARMS FIRING SCHOOL & M16 MATCH - 10 October - Western CMP Games, Phoenix, AZ: This course is recommended for all new shooters and anyone that would like to learn gun safety and sound target shooting skills, regardless of previous experience. In this course you will learn about safety, positions, how to load and clear the rifle, how to loop a sling and prepare for practice firing. Rifle SAFS students are required to use the Rock River AR-15 commercial rifles issued by the school. Personal rifles are not permitted. Ammunition will be issued for use during practice fire and the M16 EIC Match. Coaches will be available to assist students during practice and the M16 match. CMP Monthly Matches, CMP Marksmanship Centers -

Anniston, AL & Port Clinton, OHThe CMP invites you and your team to participate in the CMP's Monthly Matches. The matches will take place at the CMP's Marksmanship Centers North and South on

18 October and 15 November. The competitions will feature a Junior Air Rifle 3x20 and 3x10, a 60 Shots Air Rifle and Air Pistol match, and a 20 shot Novice Prone match. Rental equipment is available for the monthly matches for a small fee.
