Greetings!

We're in for an adventure!  You're invited to join us on Saturday evening July 27th as we travel 650 feet beneath the surface of Hutchinson, Kansas for an underground picnic and concert!

The theme of the evening is "Time Changes Everything", which just happens to be the name of our new CD.  We thought the sparkling underground caverns carved from an ancient layer of salt would make a great backdrop for this new music.

Strataca, the Kansas Underground Salt Museum, is an extraordinary experience unique in the Western Hemisphere. You'll wander areas that were mined out decades ago, learning about the geology of salt and how it is mined. You'll also see treasures from Hollywood movies that have been entrusted with Underground Vaults and storage.

At a steady 68 degrees underground, Strataca is the perfect July getaway.  Transportation is available underground if you need it.  We hope to see you there!

Happy Trails,

The Diamond W Family

CD cover
Diamond W's latest
CD is a delight

We always wonder how        the Diamond W
Wranglers are going to        top themselves. Their past albums have been so iconic, and when we heard that "Time Changes Everything" was the title of their latest work, we were curious where that would go musically. Well, friends, it goes forward and backwards.  Back to classic Western swing and Big Band; forward to Folk, Americana, and modern cowboy anthems.  The result is toe-tapping and heart-touching.

Some highlights -
"Cowboy True", from the late Curly Musgrave - made even more compelling with Stu Stuart's stirring vocal.

"Cimarron Waltz" - Chip Worthington's soaring tenor brings a new tenderness to this Jim Farrell ballad, and his fluent Spanish has transformed the Wranglers' version of "Vaya con Dios".

"David and Samuel" - written by Stu and his wife Kathleen, was inspired by her family genealogy research into the Civil War. Stu's musical storytelling graces two other songs as well.

"Time Changes Everything" and Guy Lombardo's infectious ditty "Enjoy Yourself" are the top and tail of the new CD, and will leave you smiling.  There's plenty more.  Check it out for yourself at

Kudos to the group's arranger and recording engineer Jim Farrell, who worked his usual magic at his recording studio in Towanda, Kansas.  The Diamond W slogan is "Exploring the Boundaries of Western Music" -- but they always bring us home.
