WESTON MUNICIPAL CENTER CLOSED
MEMORIAL DAY

The Weston Municipal Center will be closed Monday, May 25th, 2015 for the Memorial Day Holiday. We will re-open at 8:00 a.m. on Tuesday, May 26th.

NEW OFFICE HOURS
WESTON MUNICIPAL CENTER

Starting Tuesday, May 26th, The Weston Municipal Center will have new office hours. The new hours will be Monday - Friday from 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. 


MEMORIAL DAY
WEEK GARBAGE / RECYCLING SCHEDULE 

Monday, May 25th: No Pickup - Will be picked up on Tuesday
 

Tuesday, May 26th: Will be picked up Wednesday  
 

Wednesday, May 27th: Will be picked up Thursday 
 

Thursday, May 28th: Will be picked up Friday 
 

Friday, May 29th: Will be picked up Saturday

BUILDING INSPECTORS
OFFICE HOURS

Starting Tuesday, May 26th 

the Building Inspector's Office Hours will be
8:00 a.m. - 9:00 a.m. & 3:30 p.m. - 4:30 p.m.
Monday through Thursday
OR by scheduling an appointment.

Building Permits will ONLY be accepted
between these times.

AQUATIC CENTER
EARLY BIRD SEASON PASSES

The deadline to receive the Early Bird Special price for the Aquatic Center Pool Passes is TODAY, Friday, May 22nd! Any passes turned in after 5:00 p.m. TODAY, Friday, May 22nd will not receive the Early Bird Special price. Any pool passes that are received by mail must have a post mark date on or before May 22nd!

SWIMMING LESSONS

Swimming lessons start the week of June 15th, at the Weston Aquatic Center, and there is still time to sign up! 

Lessons will run from 10am to 10:50am from June 15th through August 7th.

 

There are 3 sessions available:

Session 1: June 15th - 26th
Session 2: July 6th - July 17th
Session 3: July 27th - August 7th

WESTON V-CHAT 
The Village of Weston has started creating informational videos called Weston V-Chat. During the next year we will be posting several short videos to communicate preferred procedures and practices for your services. Services like Spring and Fall Yard Materials Pick-up, the wheres and whys for snow removal process, proper yard maintenance, etc. Please view the video below.

FARMER'S MARKET

The Village of Weston's Farmer's Market is officially Open at their NEW location on the corner of Camp Phillips Rd. and Schofield Ave. They will be open every Saturday from 8:00-2:00 p.m. and every Tuesday from 10:00 a.m. - 6:00 p.m.

Looking for a Summer Job? The Village of Weston is seeking to hire a Sewer and Water Utility General Laborer. This position will begin approximately May 25th and would last for a maximum of 4 months. FREE WORKSHOP
HOW TO BUILD A RAIN BARREL

  Are you interested in obtaining ideas and receiving instructions on how to build a rain barrel?  We would like to invite you to attend this free workshop, scheduled for Wednesday, June 10th, 5:00 p.m., here at the Weston Municipal Center.

 

During this workshop, a presentation on water conservation and efficiency will be given as well as a presentation giving you many ideas and some general step-by-step instructions on how to build that perfect rain barrel unique to your needs.

 

All Village of Weston residents who harvest rain water via a rain barrel (or rain garden), are eligible for the one-time storm water credit (provided you have not received that credit already).  The storm water credit is calculated out at 68% of your annual storm water bill (example: $48.00/year fee for a single-family home = $32.64 credit).

Weston) for their Fun Festival on Saturday, May 30th from 10:00 a.m. - 3:00 p.m. Take a tour of the school, meet the kids and enjoy Grandpa's Farm Petting Zoo, Face Painting, Bounce House, Raffles and MORE! Celebrate the Dairy Days of Summer with the Marathon
County June Dairy Breakfast on Sunday, May 31st from 7:00 a.m. -noon. This year's event is being held at the Dukelow Acres Family Farm in Abbotsford (W1216 Willow Road, Abbotsford. One mile north of State Highway 29 and 2.5 miles west of State Highway 13.)
