WESTON MUNICIPAL UTILITIES - FROZEN PIPE ALERT
As of 7:30 P.M. on Friday, February 14, Weston Municipal Utilities issued a system wide advisory to continuously run water to prevent water service lateral freeze-ups.  This advisory remains in effect until further notice.  Even though warmer temperatures are expected in the coming weeks, frost remains underground.  For more information or updates on the situation, please refer to the Village's website as well as for the FAQ's regarding water service laterals and water service lateral freeze-ups.  If you have any questions you can contact our 24 hour Utility line at 715-359-2876. Thank you!

2014 DOG & CAT LICENSING DEADLINE APPROACHING

Just a reminder that 2014 Dog and Cat Licensing must be obtained through PetData directly before April 1, 2014 to avoid higher licensing fees and fines. Licenses can no longer be purchased at the Weston Municipal Center.

If you licensed your pet in 2013, PetData will be sending (or have sent) your 2014 pet license renewal notice directly to your mailbox. Pet owners will have several options for renewing, including by Mail or Online. New pet owners, or pet owners that did not receive a notice, may also use the online licensing system.

As reminder, per Chapter 10 of the Village of Weston's Municipal Code requires that all cats and dogs must be licensed by the time they become four (4) months of age or within 30 days of an owner obtaining the animal. Late license fees will be charged for those failing to obtain a license by April 1 of each year or within 30 days of taking ownership of the animal. A fine of $155.50 may be imposed for failure to have your dog and/or cat licensed and vaccinated.

For more information, visit www.petdata.com or call 866-220-5551.
