LetterGreetings!

people 2 NETA is pleased to offer you

Florida Wildlife Corridor Expedition: Everglades to Okefenokee, a one hour trek along the Florida Wildlife Corridor showcasing its wildlife habitats, watersheds and working ranches.

On January 17, 2012, the Florida Wildlife Corridor Expedition team kicked off a 1000-mile expedition over a 100-day period to increase public awareness of Florida's wildlife habitat.

Bear biologist Joe Guthrie, conservationist Mallory Lykes Dimmitt, photojournalist Carlton Ward Jr., and filmmaker Elam Stoltzfus trekked from the Everglades National Park toward Okefenokee National Forest in southern Georgia. The team traversed the wildlife habitats, watersheds and participating working farms and ranches, which comprise the Florida Wildlife Corridor opportunity area.

The team documented its journey through photography, video streams, radio reports, daily updates on social media and digital networks, and a host of activities for reporters, landowners, celebrities, conservationists, politicians and other guests.

Florida Wildlife Corridor Expedition is produced by Elam Stoltzfus, Live Oak Production Group. It is presented by WUSF and distributed by NETA. It is underwritten by The Mosaic Company. Local underwriting is permissible.
