Insects: Sizes, Shapes and Colors Galore Feb. 27
11am-3pmEntomologist Dr. Shawn Dash, assistant professor at Hampton University, will exhibit and interpret a wide variety of non-live insects and other invertebrates, along with a few live examples.
Also, at 12:30, 1:30 & 2:30pm he will present a 15 minute talk, "Insects: Sizes, Shapes and Colors Galore!" in the Changing Exhibit Gallery with BIG BUGS. He will explore the biodiversity of bugs, how ants are more than a household pest, and the role insects play in human health.
Included in museum admission.
