In today's video release we watch Pat Pattison unpack Hillary Reynolds' song, "Further on Down the Road." As he does in his other masterclasses, Pat offers insights, clarifying the song's message and allowing it to speak more clearly to the listener. Pat encourages Hillary to set the song's point of view as early as possible. He also discusses what he calls the "Box Motion" of a song: the build of a song emotionally as it moves through the "boxes" of its verses and choruses.
