The Jewish Community Relations Council is seeking physicians and other medical professionals to perform general health screenings. General volunteers as well as medical volunteers are being recruited to offer their services for 4-hour shifts during the program.
This Interfaith Health Fair is being held in conjunction with the National Council of Jewish Women's (NCJW) annual Back 2 School Store, at which children, identified by social service agencies, are invited to "shop" for new clothing, shoes, personal items and school supplies. The health fair will provide medical screenings for the parents and guardians who accompany the children to the event. Henry Ford Health System, Huda Clinic, Covenant Care, Jewish Family Service and other organizations are sponsoring the event. If you are interested or would like more information, please contact Naomi Levine at the Jewish Community Relations Council 248-642-2656 or Registration for the program is through our Eventbrite link: https://jcrcinterfaithhealthfair.eventbrite.com
