DEAR FRIENDS,

During the past few weeks, I've written about LSIC's new developments in the areas of expungements, juvenile justice, and affordable housing. As we partner with community groups and get the word out, more and more people are showing up at our neighborhood presentations and court-based offices---desperate to learn their rights, to keep their families together, to have a second chance at life.
IMAGINE IF YOU WILL...

The momentum is promising, but quite honestly, it feels like we're simply scratching the surface, knowing that thousands more disadvantaged residents are in need of legal help.

When I look at the young man in this painting, I wish that all our city's children might grow up and be independent, secure, and happy.
WE'RE REACHING OUT TO YOU: PLEASE HELP OTHERS GET A FAIR SHOT!

Will you please join our wonderful alumni, law firms, and community providers, who have stepped up to support our work through donations and pro bono partnerships?
JUSTICE REFORM IS AT OUR CORE
For decades, LSIC has advocated for justice through clinic education, legal representation, and court-based services. Your gifts make it possible for LSIC supervisors to train and inspire law students to speak up for the 3,000+ DC residents we touch each year.

We have less than a week remaining to reach our  Hope + Change goal of $100,000. Please give generously as we uphold our promise to bring justice, fairness, and equality to all.

HAPPY HOLIDAYS,

Moses Cook
Executive Director
