LSIC EXPUNGEMENT CLINIC IS OPEN! INTAKES ON MONDAYS.


The LSIC Expungement Clinic, launched on September 14, 2015, is one of the only services in Washington, DC, where indigent or low-income individuals can seek free attorney representation to seal their criminal record and get a clean slate. Declares LSIC pro bono attorney Lori Silberman, "We're here to give 'a voice' to people who often feel voiceless." More

DC Law Students in Court (LSIC) provides free, high-quality legal services to low-income District of Columbia residents while teaching and inspiring the next generation of lawyers.  We are committed to protecting the legal rights of vulnerable men, women, and children who have civil, criminal, and housing legal problems that originated in the District.  Our steady presence in the courts serves as a vital check on a system that favors people with counsel and resources over people without.
