OFCCP Posts New Contractor Resources for VEVRAA and Section 503 |
As a part of OFCCP's ongoing efforts to support federal contractor compliance with the new Section 503 of the Rehabilitation Act (Section 503) and the Vietnam Era Veterans' Readjustment Assistance Act (VEVRAA) regulations, on November 23, 2013 the agency posted a non-exhaustive list of governmental and nongovernmental resources that federal contractors may find helpful. These resources are useful tools for conducting effective outreach and recruitment of individuals with disabilities and veterans, providing reasonable accommodations in the workplace, and promoting self-identification as an individual with a disability or a veteran.
OFCCP periodically updates the resources and other information it makes available to federal contractors for complying with the Section 503 and VEVRAA regulations so we encourage you to visit the agency's Web site at http://www.dol.gov/ofccp.
