We know it's hard to believe, but Spring really is coming. It may feel like we're lost in a deep, dark Winter wind tunnel, but there is a bright beacon at the end, and we promise we're only moving closer to it!

In the meantime, while we're stuck in this sort of middling ground of weather, where some afternoons are in the mid 50s but the nights still drop to the teens and even negatives (!), it's good to keep in mind that a knitter's best defense against the mercurial weather can be found in the "lightweight but warm" category of knitting. 

Nonoo's Spring 2014 runway (seen above, left) featured almost translucent, lightweight sweaters layered over equally transparent pants.
